goirish, If you run into questions on your engine, you may want to visit the RCGF forum (http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.a...23494&key=rcgf).

Piston (Henry) and AussieSteve are two of the distributors and are very quick to provide answers and it seems they have the ear of the manufacturer too, because they listen to the customer and make frequent changes. Henry is suppose to be getting a shipment of 26's tomorrow, and I am placing my order for one too. If you read through the threads, there is alot of good things said about the motor and support. Good Luck! (I am trying my engine on a QQ 73" yak)

goirish, can you provide a link to the ad with the water on top of the engine? I haven't seen that one yet.

I have been looking for it. I will find it and post it. I was just surfing RCGF sites when I found it. I should have bookmarked it. Was pretty impressive.

You buy an RCGF engine and those guys will answer every question ...which to my mind is a good reason to go with that engine

Some of the other engine choices don't have as good a customer rapport

Talking 26cc now

My Short list

Tygon fuel line, gas stopper, smart fly ignition kill, 1100 mah 4 volt batt for ign, igntion switch, fuel dots, nyrod for throttle servo.

Glass of water on engine test video:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=uN_om0....com/GF26I.htm

I think it's a bit miss leading as the engine is bolted on a rather heavy duty metal frame.
I'm running the CRRC 26i and it is ok and runs well.
My test stand is light weight in comparison.

The video may look impressive to some but you can bolt any engine to a steel bridge and it's not going to shake. Once you get it installed in a light weight plane and allow some movement it's a whole different story. Looked kinda cool though.

The G-26 is a great engine. But as one that flys it in a 17lb. Ultra Stick, I can safely say that a 20lb. Bearcat will not burn a lot of holes in the sky.
