RE: Where is AMT USA ?
Id3m,
As Randy said the Factory Specs are between 18 and 20 pounds, I will check with the factory to see if they have a file on that engine.
Do you know what the Maximum RPM is set to on that ECU?
John

RE: Where is AMT USA ?
This engine was up for sale on the classified, hence he has to run the engine to know the rpm (gen1?) unless he already bought it and ran it...[8D]

RE: Where is AMT USA ?
If I am not mistaken, the 180SP had some different internal parts to handle the higher heat and output. I have had a Mercury or two since 1998. The original Mercury RPM was set at around 142-144K for about 16# of thrust. The next step was to 147k for approx 18# of push. The 180sp were set to approx 152k for the 20-21 of thrust. However almost any turbine's thrust will vary somewhat. It all depends on each particular motor. Some will put out a liitle more, depending on the internal tolerances etc. . Some turbines just put out a liitle more than others!
