Just thought I'd share what I think is a great Price on a Yaw Rate Gyro check here http://www.hobbypeople.net/prdcls/gyro01.asp
That looks surprisingly like a Centry Gyro at about Half the Denaro

Looks real good. Thanks for the Pics. Will be watching for that test flight report. I'm building up a back-up (bare bones kit) HB, so if yours flys OK and you don't have any bad reports on it, I'll probably be ordering one for it.
Thanks;

I went with the basic kit also, I was a little disapointed you don't get at least one pack with it so it's taking me some time to get it all together, I went with seprates right from the start since my RD6000 can handle the mixing still not real happy with the heat even on a speed 300 still gets quite warm on bench runs.

Took the HBird on her maiden and the CIRRUS GYRO was flawless held the tail steady guess I figured the Mix correct
Wish the rest of it was that good, the Gyro was decidedly much better than my current flying skills but I will atest to the durabilty of this little Heli
seems I did pick up one bad habit from the SIM and a little brain freeze
The Sim Heli was CP and the HBird is FP , on the sim when I got a little out of it I would chop the throttle and touch down. When ya do that with an HBird it dose the best impression of a rock I've ever seen
LOL As for the CIRRUS Micro 6 as far as I'm concernd it's a keeper I didn't even touch the gain on it I left it at the factory setting and adjusted my Revo Mix, The thing is so sensitive that when I picked it up from a crash the T/R would trigger at a slight side push

A'right Z. That's good news. Looks like I'd better try to scoop one of those up for my spare bird. I wonder if it will work with the Hummingboard ? What ESC are using on it? I've only got the Hitec Laser 4 radio with no mixing capability.
Got my E-Tech 2 cell 1200 mah Li-Poly today and really love it. 'Flew 15 mins without any chatter or red led on the HBoard. I have removed the Century 370 motor and am back on the Simprop Power Speed 300. I need an 8 or 9 tooth pinion for the 370 'cuz the TR just can't keep up with it with the factory 10 tooth instld..
Keep us posted on burning-in that Cirrus Gyro...

Thanx Popcyclical, This is the set up currently flying
Speed 300 6V
GreatPlanes 10amp main ESC
GreatPlanes 5amp Nano ESC T/R
Cirrus Micro 6 Yaw rate Gyro
2 Cirrus Micro 6.2 Servo's
Cirrus MRX4 Micro RX
Airtronics RD6000 Super TX
I can't say enough about the RD6000 Super it's great , the programing isn't hard to figure out or setup, As a newbie I was very impressed at how easy it was to set the Revo Mix up and get it working first time out and as stated with the seprates and the Cirrus Gyro my T/R is rocksolid only time I get some Yaw is on a quick throttle plip and that's very minimal as the Cirrus Gyro quikly catches it and locks the Tail

I agree about the cirrus gyros...I have the MPG-10 on one of my hornets and it works just as good as my Futaba GY240 on the other. Can't beat it for $35 bucks!!

I really like the gyros, but I seem to be stuck on hitec servos and berg recievers. I am going to have to try out an all cirrus hornet in a little bit....
