Jet Meetng in New Zealand, Pics
Just a few pics from our 4th anual ANZAC jet meeting held last weekend in Tokoroa NEW ZEALAND.
As you csn see, the site at Tokoroa is magnificent with 1000m of sealed runway, which is closed to full size for the weekend, and we have a 2500 foot height limit!!!!
The rally is very low key and social, only around 20 pilots and 30 models, it is rare to have more then two on the flight line, so there is low pressure flying and it is pretty easy to get a solo spot for us that want to really show off.
The standard of jet models in NZ is very high. The Air Machi is finished in NZ air force livery by Tony Whity. The phantoms belongs to Pete Magregor (organiser). Mike Rydens little Viper is an immaculate and has been flying for over 16 years, still a hot performer on 91R D/F.
