My Friend is leaving me.... anybody have a towel?
The request was for a few high speed passes and a couple of start ups. After this I ripped off two tanks of fuel in the grass and none of that video made it home with me. 
Probably user error, too bad too as I had some pretty nice donuts and wheelies in the grass. As much as I would like to play with this for another day, it is time to send it back home. It was initially too lean and could have used a little more fuel, which I gave it. I guess my old radio is dying, because I had glitches like crazy today and had another idle away... I cut down the distance I let the truck get away from me after that. Time to spend money on another rx for one of my Futabas. Anyway, this thing is sick fast and it will only get stronger for the next couple of gallons. Glen

It belongs to a member in Connecticut, he was having trouble getting it to start and sent it to me to figure out what the issue was. It had a couple of problems, it is smoking now! The time has come to send it home.

WOW that is pulling some heavy gearing there 18/47 on Terrapins is no joke...Its too bad you missed videoing the wheelies !!!!!

I am very sure that the owner of that engine will have some Youtube vids popping up all summer long...
I hear the pinch is worked down a bit and it is going to be ready to run hard when it comes home.
I feel like a little kid on Christmas except now I know when santa will be here.... Saturday around noon actually!!! Maybe monday at three!! either way who knows what time Santa actually comes?

What transmission was paired with that gearing? I'd assume a 2-speed since you (Glen) always talked about 3-speeds grenading with such gearing.

It was the two speed, those runs would have probably done in another three speed for me.... I had to shut the distance way down from normal due to radio glitches. His engine is crazy strong.... a smart man would have sent something else back.... [
] too late now, the post office has it! Supertib said that engine has more timing than he gave my original modded 28 and he has learned a little since then as well. He expected this engine to be stronger than my first one. Hope the CT MTN Man has a good parts source!
