Default Tartan ST77 twin engine

Hi all

I purchased a second hand Tartan ST77 twin engine (glow). Although it is not running on gas I thought I try this forum.

It is in very good condition but I do not know how old it is.

I would like to know where I can get spare parts and also are these engines still produced? If yes, who makes them and do they have a website for info?

Thanks. Any help is appreciated.

It's old enough not to get spare parts any more.
A nice engine to keep well oiled.
I know a friend who still has one for sale.

You might try contacting Cline & Associates, 807 Alpha Road - Box 44, Alpha, OH 45301. Phone 937-426-4176 Fax: 937 426-711. Do not have his email address. I did send my Tartan to him for a rebuild a couple of years ago. I haven't run it yet but he indicated tht it ran great on the test bench. He has gas conversions available also.

Hi fellow tartan user, I have one fitted in a Sorrel Hiperbipe, should have some pics in a few more days.Mine is also quite old but runs fantastic,(20 yrs+).If you find a parts supplier in the UK,let me know in the forum. On a personal note,I spent a lot of time in Scotland and even persuaded a local lass to Marry me,still have good contact with them even though we now live in spain.
