Used Buying Help
I'm going to buy a used Rustler VXL tomorrow and was wondering if anybody has any tips on what I should look for? Specific parts to check?

couldn't nurt to bring a charged battery with you to make sure you can test it, maybe some AA for the tx also. run it in all directions, fast & slow, then check to see if anything gets hot, other than that, just look for anything broken.

See if there is any slop in the steering assembly or somethign like that. Closely examine the overall condition of it. Look at the chassis to see if it was jumped hard. If there is alot of slop, you knew it is old. Other than that, the rustler is a extremely simple vehicle, there isnt much to go wrong on it.
