Default HPI Firestrom vs. Traxxas Nitro Rustler

I am looking to get a new nitro rc car after I sold my first one about a year ago. I know I want a 1/10 scale off-road stadium truck or buggy, but probably a stadium truck. I have narrowed it down to probably either the HPI Firestorm or the Traxxas Nitro Rustler. Does anyone have a recomendation of which one of these to get, or a different one to look in to? My main focus is durability. Also, are either of these trucks 2-speed, or are they both 1-speed (does it make much of a difference)? These are both in my price range, but I can't really go any higher.

One more thing, is there a difference between a stadium truck and a tuggy? If so, could you please explain?

Default RE: HPI Firestrom vs. Traxxas Nitro Rustler

Typically a stadium truck is 2wd and 1/10 scale and the truggy is a 4wd hybrid buggy truck that are generally 1/8 scale. Maybe some exceptions.

I have never had a firestorm, but by all accounts its very durable as is the rustler. I am sure the rustler would be a good bit faster top speed. Both I believe are single speed.

I would say get whatever one you can get parts easier and cheaper as both are good trucks for bashing.
