Default Charging Lipo..

My 3S2P Lipo 4000mAh will be coming today..

Was just wondering with the 2P, do I charge it like other 3S lipos??

So I'm going to charge the battery at 4.0Amp right with 3S count selected.

Also, do I need to balance it and charge at the same time?

Just wanna make sure.

Charge it like any other 3s, yeah. Balancing is good to do but not necessarily a part of every cycle.

Nope. You do not have to do anything different for your first charge. However, I do strongly suggest you balance it with your first charge.

You don't need to balance charge it every time you charge it, unless its a cheapo. Bad experiences.....

A balancer will only do so much, many balancers are limited to ~100mAH. If you have a 'new' LiPo, presumably it has been sitting around somewhere on a store shelf or in a warehouse for a while, so it's a good idea to check the individual cell voltages and if they are not very close to each other, charge each cell individually to ensure it's balanced. Hopefully your balancer has something like a light that blinks or a buzzer that goes off when it is clamping, when that light is solid or the buzzer is on all the time, that's the indication you need to stop the charge and do each cell individually (since the balancer isn't able to do its job).

i know it's unnecessary to balance charge it every time.........but if you did so it wouldn't be hurting nothing would it??
