You'll get more money parting it out, but you also spend more time shipping stuff. A Revo that's been through two motors, I'd only be willing to give around $150 for it, if that.

i know its not runing lean the low speed is set flush to that ring on there and theres plenty of smoke and normally runing at about 160-190 never let it into the 200s. strange this always happens when i put different fuel in it...

The engine should have gotten into the 200's. It never warmed up completely if it didn't. You were also running it way rich. I have never seen a Revo run that low, every one I've seen has been between 220 and 260, with various engines, when tuned properly.

Good grief, no wonder you've been killing motors. These engines HAVE to get over 200 degrees for all the different metals to expand and work togeather properly. Mose nitro RC's have a sweet spot for tuning right around 240. As you have demonstrated, too low an operating temp will kill an engine as surly as too high a temp.

ok well maybe i dont know the most about tuning i just follow what my buddies do when were drivin and they all run about the same tune. and their stuff doesnt break... if thats the case can someone tell me why that could cause the piston to chip off at the edge

RE: sell revo?
Which edge of the piston chipped off, top, bottom, side near a port, where?????
I can think of a couple of reasons why that could happen due to low temps, especially if the engines been run too cold for extended periods. The first thing that comes to mind is that you have caused excessive wear on the piston and sleeve allowing for too much play/movement in the cylinder allowing the piston to "wobble" in the cylinder and chip. W/o a better description and photos of what happened though, that's strictly guess work.
That truck came with a very good instruction manual that included how to properly break it in and how to properly tune it. Traxxas also provides the absolute best customer support there is (both on line and by phone) and their website has extensive how-to's and help including what temp to try to tune for - 245F if anyone is interested. Simply following the instruction in the manual would have saved you a lot of grief.
But to answer your original question about the truck's value,
A new Revo 3.3 can be bought for $460 or less. A used RC that's in good condition and running usually has a value of 1/2 the new cost.
That would put you at about $230 but since you have a blown engine I would subtract the cost of a new engine - which is about $115 using Traxxas ERP.
Personally, I would never pay more than about $125 for what you have to sell. You may get lucky and find someone foolish enough to give you more but most experienced RC'ers would not.
Good Luck whatever you decide.
