Doug, i don't understand your post? Who said anything about anything being better than a Bandit?

"Even after what.. 10 years? With several manufacturers trying.. NOTHING flies like a Bandit. IMO it's still the best sport jet ever made. "

I agree that it is the best................
Nobody said anything was better, I was just commenting that after being around for over 10 years, it's still the best. Nothing more to it than that.

Well the Super Balsa Bandit looked great at CA Jets. Nick put in a couple of flights and then passed the controls to Dustin to "really wring it out". Wow! Dustin dispelled any notion the the SBB can't take the flight loads with a P-120SE for blow. Dustin put the throttle stick in the "fun" position and ripped up the sky with some awesome 199.9999 mph flying. Nick's heart was racing for about an hour afterwards! There was a little problem with some aileron flutter but an adjustment to the linkage took care of that and Nick was soon back in the air. Dougie "scrambled" his Flash and IT WAS ON, BABY!!!! Big vertical, fast passes, and just enough trash talk at the pilot stations to keep it interesting. Young Grasshoppa knocked some rust off his thumb and did just fine.

The man.....the machine.....

Hi guys,

wow, nice SBB!!!

would you have the final CoG measurement with the tanks empty and the tanks full?

I'd be ready for the maiden of this baby...: and this one doesn't get lighter in flight

Sunday it is...

SBB, 21lbs.

Many thanks,
Ralf
