covering with koverall or equiv

RE: covering with koverall or equiv
Hi, I am building a monocoupe 90a from a set of plans. I would like to cover it in some kind of fabric material and paint it my self. I normally monokote most of my other planes but the one thing that bugs me the most is shiny monokote on old time scale planes (especially warbirds). Even though I want to paint this monocoupe, I think I am going to be out of luck because this is a light weight .45 size plane and i am afraid that paint will just weigh it down too much especially if is also fabric. Are there any lighter weight fabric coverings that can be painted easily? I have worked with coverite and like it, but again, it is just too shiny and not what I want for this case.

Well, I was searching the internet and I found Nelsons Hobbies has some LightFab fabric that is unpainted and they say it is good from a 3 pound plane up to giant scale. So I decided to give it a shot. I ordered a couple rolls of it and try it out. They way it was described, it sounds a lot like the old unpainted super coverite fabric which was some good stuff.
