Default NEW! Nitro Planes 70MM F-4E Blue Angels EDF Jet

The New 70MM F-4E Blue Angels Has So Much Power I Would Have To Say That I Thinks It's Even Faster Than The New 70MM F/A 18C,

There's Less Work To Do On The Assmebly Part, The Control Horns Are All Pre Installed, You Only Have To Epoxy The Wings And Stab And Nose Cone. I Used 15 Minute Epoxy So I Would Have To Say That You'll Have The F-4E Together In 15 Minutes, To Only Wait For The Battery To Charge While "YOU" Double Check The Jet Before It's Maiden Flight.

I Wouldn't Suggest This As A Starter, If You Really Want A EDF Jet I Would Start With The F/A 18C More Stable, The F-4 Is Very Fast And Is Not To Forgiving When In Trouble Vs The F/A 18C Glides And Doesn't Need To Be Powered As Much As The F-4 Short Wings. The F/A 18C Can Be Flown At A Quater Throttle And Still Stay In The Air, With It's Cup Shaped Wings That Gives It The Lift.

The EF2000 is also a pretty docile flyer.

Ok Guy's Here's My Maiden Flight.

I just got mine last Friday and maidened it yesterday. It appears the mainmount blocks were installed backwards and wouldn't accept the main landing gear properly. Ended up leaving the gear off and made some belly skids to protect the aileron servo arms for landing at our grass field.

With the elevators set to neutral as per the instructions, she pitched up violently after agood hand launch from a friend and looped into the ground. Minor damage to the front end occurred, took about an hour to get her back into one piece, looks good except the nose cone looks like Gonzo's beak.

Anyway, I now have the elevators set to about 25-30 degrees down. When holding the plane vertical under power it has no tendency to loop over backwards. Doesn't look right by any stretch and the weather hasn't permitted a second attempt at a maiden. I'm curious as to how your elevators were setup, neutral or down.

You can use a heat gun on a light setting to fix the "Gonzo Beak".

Hold the plane by the tip of the nose, while lightly heating the crunched area of the nose with the heat gun.

This will smooth out the wrinkles to the plastic.

I did this to mine and it looks as good as new now.
