Default Losi LST Shocks Custom Fit On T-Maxx??

ok...i should of read my messages before posting...found out that the shocks are a waste of time...and found out that its better to go with 1/8 shocks from a truggy or buggy...

now with that being said...does anyone know of any 1/8 shocks that will be good for the T-Maxx???

Thanks,
Chris

either a set of ofna shocks or UE shocks. you will need new towers to have them work properly though. UE makes a set, FLM makes a set. look around and there are plenty of multi-position towers.

you will most likely only need a 4 shock setup with 1/8 shocks<br type="_moz" />

I have a pair from the Ofna Ultra LX comp 1/8 buggy, and they're brilliant. You can get them on Ebay for $20 a set. If you get them, get the rear shocks not the fronts. The front ones are too long and will not fit properly. Just my $0.02

i think he meant to say the fronts are perfect, and the rears are too long... I have this set-up on my T-Maxx check my gallery if you wanna see some pics...the ofna ultra lx comp shocks fit perfectly and ebay is the perfect place to buy for about $20 a set...they set-up fine however, i didnt need new shock towers or anything...I'm also running supermaxx springs so I can run a 4 shock set-up

...as far as the LST shocks, a guy actually did it howver he had to hack up the arms pretty well and it was on a E-Maxx, really cool but sacrifices a lot of durability so its really not worth it in the end

Actually they do make mounting provisions to mount the LST shocks on the T-Maxx. I have seen it done too. Never messed with any other shocks though off of 1/8th Scale trucks i have a muggy which has the big shocks on it like the LST.  http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_35...33/key_/tm.htm and go to post number 819 that is a savage with the lst shocks on it that has the correct mounting provisions. And he says they actually do pretty darn good. I am pretty sure that you can ask him where he got them from if you are still looking into getting the lst shocks on the maxx. If not good luck with what you choose.
