What are you thinking of running her in Mick?
Friend of mine built a MHZ Hunter with a single 70 driving a pair of S6 drives through a gearbox. Motor had plenty of power for that application. She does put out an impressive amount of power though you might expect some propwalk if your thinking of a single drive on a Vee.

Too big, too much weight and too much power for the 2.33. You could make them fit but would be a waste of a good boat and good motors.
They ran a few 2.33's with 6 zenoahs and brought it down to 4 as the boat was overpowered.
I remember a QD50 called "monster HP" that I believe BH Hanson marketed - not sure if it was from QD direct or an aftermarket option.
TOdd/Mitch - there is still room in the market for a 50
Lots of bigger cats and Vees coming out

Based on a [link=http://www.mtc-powerboat.de/index.php?section1=Produkte§ion2=Motoren§i on3=MTC§ion4=MTC 2-Takt 2-Zylinder]MTC-twin-bottom[/link] or even better a [link=http://www.matho-powertrain.de/webkatalog.htm]Matho-MouseHouse[/link] :-)
Where I perfer the MouseHouse-style because of the horizontal-split and one piece crank.

Hi again
what boat matt would you put 2 70cc quickdraw motors in ?
yes i have been looking at the power train motors as well
but i just love the quickdraw motors
how do i set up a pull to see if people would buy a 50cc inline twin from quickdraw as if there is a good feed back they may do one
thanks so far for your advice on this
cheers mick

Smallest boat I have seen twin QD70's in is the 84" apache though the concensus is that the hull is overpowered with a pair.
Only other boat out there that would have the room for twin 70's (and possibly need that much power) is the 96" fountain from MHZ. I was planning on using twin Mathe 70's in mine though could never get a response from Mathe regarding motors. I ended up sticking with twin CMB35's that the previous owner had used. http://imageevent.com/justaddwata/morecantonpics

2 70cc QDs? just drop a SBC in, cheaper in the long run and almost as much power.![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Isn't there a guy in Texas making a LARGE catamaran that could take these?

I only know of Tom B who is doing the Class One which is in essence the same 2.33m HPR cat listed above.
She was originally built By Curt and Hanspeter for twin nitros though twin inline zenoahs were found to fit. Worth mentioning that an inline zenoah and a QD35 weigh in at almost identical - figure 2 x QD70's would be well in excess of what that cat would like to carry.
