REVO 3.3
k so got a new to me revo. i played with it for a little prob ran half a gallon through it. my reverse stopped working so i took the tranny out and replaced taht gear. put the tranny back in and ran it for about 20 mins. then i look at it and my spur gear is strippin out. so lucky i had another one in my box, put it on and now its making a grinding noise. i cant get rid of it, its not like my old t maxx where i can move the whole engine via the 4 screws that hold the motor in place. the new 3.3 has a swivling arm to adjust it. is there a adjustment on the tranny as well? or a certain way to adjust ???

RE: REVO 3.3
There are two screws on the revo to set the mesh. Loosen the two screws slightly, set the mesh and re-tighten. It's actually easier to set the mesh on the Revo than the Maxx.
You are using a Revo Mod 1 spur gear? The Maxx spurs (Mod .8) do not mesh with the Revo clutch bell.
