First off ... ONLY use silicone tubing for cooling lines !!
If using tygon or most other plastic / vinal tubing its gets soft and slippery under the heat.

Using Silicone, razor blade off short 1/4"- 5/16" sections and slide them up on a pair of needle nose pliers, then place them over the tubing end at EVERY fitting. these act as a cinch more than doubling the grip tubing has on fittings barb

NOTE: all tubing ends

I have had problems keeping my cooling hoses on but when I went to using zip ties (plastic ties) that cured it. Possibly something else is going on here. Try plugging the hose out of the pipe and blow into the other hose. If you can blow into it and hear noise or you can keep blowing into it and it leaks down slowly chances are your o-rings are leaking. That can let exhaust gasses build up and blow off the cooling hose.
Also try cutting off the last 1/4 to 1/2 inch of hose. It will make a tighter fit.

I've used Scott's idea and zip ties with no problems. If the zip ties are done tight enough they shouldn't be able to come off. Use pliers to twist them tighter. Grab near the pass through clamp part and leverage against it, old electrician trick!

Scott,
Where did you get that oiler for the flexshaft? Very cool and what kind of exhaust flange are you using?

Shaft oiler is home made. 35mm film can, 90* thinwall nitro pipe fitting in bottom. Rc aircraft fuel valve as the oil on/off. stuffing tube block machined to slip fit on, .050" hole drilled for oil regulation.
Exhaust flange a CC racing Zero leak.

Here another boat with the same tubing collars .... been Racing for near 20 years doing this and NEVER blown a hose off a fitting !!
Using zip tyes will damage the tubing causing it to split and it will split !!

Good tip on the tubing collars Scott i like that idea, by the way when using that oiler are you still using any grease on the flex or just the oil?.Also what oil are you using or is it a mix of oil and grease cheers mate.

Use the same silicone tubing that your using for your water lines and cut a piece about 1/4" piece off and take it and open the end with a needle nose pliers and slide it over your tubing then when you go to put your water line back on it will cinch up and hold your tubing on tightly. Hope that helps.

That's my Thunderboat .... Long cable !!
Oil only, No grease using Chain saw Bar & Chain oil.
It's light viscosity, Sticky and contains major anti rust / corrosion inhibitors.
