RE: engine choices
I'm really just looking to bash. I have a mild interest in racing, but there is no track close enough, and my time is at a serious premium. So I am just looking for a BIG oomph in the low end and high rpm capacity for top end.

yup.....although my clutch shoes are worn out and my engine has devoloped a problem (might have to run a different one) I ran the most consistant so far this weekend...I think I only had to be marshalled like 5 times in 15 min. (still to many, far less then usuall and 2 times were due to marshall threw me on the track headed for the pipe..lol)...although my fastest lap times were much slower then 1st place, I ran fairly consistant...all in all I think I did ok.

RE: engine choices
i would say a .28 is overkill for a buggy... a motor that a lot of people overlook is the radical and ops engines, i dont know if they stilll make ops but the radical engine they sell on gotnitroonline.com... its fully modified from the factory, i believe the 621t is the torque model with 5 ports... its 299 for the engine and i think its 344 for engine and pipe... they also make a 621p that has better top end but i'm not sure how much that costs.

ok...I was just curious...I like the sh. 28 with the mod but havent had anything else to compare it too....I thought if some off chance you was thinking on racing you would wanna stick with a .21.....
anyways if I was to buy a new engine right now I think the dynamite mach2 would prolly be at the top of the list...they are like $115 of a-main..by far the least expesnive engine that Ive seen run that gets the job done..but then again Ive seen limited engines..lol
