that was just you letting off the throttle, sometimes the engine has some excess fuel in it and since the air is shut down when you let off the thorttle it will sound funny.  Dont worry, nice video btw.

Nice Video Sgt.Jonny.....We need more Drifting Vids in Himoto.......[sm=punching.gif]

You have now rediscovered why it is so difficult to Drift wit a Nitro.

You get no Traction with the Drift Tires, PLUS,,,,,your engine is working Overtime with the High revving, thus High temps.....

Also,,,,since you are going so Slow, you get no significant airflow to cool the engine.

Sounded like you were running Real rich,,,,yet I would Wager that you were seeing High to Very High engine temps.

P.S.
I agree with Eddie about that SOUND. You were running rich and trapped a bunch of fuel, (with little air)in the engine when you closed the Throttle.
It may even have been a Backfire, if the engine was running Real Hot......

Its gonna be REAL hard to get any sort of reliable/safe tune,,,,,,with the Drift tires installed....

Thanks guys for watching. I really appreciate it! I did a spit test and car was ok. I ran it rich just for safe measures. I killed all the compression in my old engine as it was too lean.
But thanks alot. Sometime here I need to put an onboard camera on it.
