4 in 1 receivers?
Hi folks,
*EDIT* Turns out what I'm actaully looking for is a 4n1 esc/gyro/mixer/Rx receiver with 5 or 6 channels, reasons below. Can anyone reccomend one? I'm haviong trouble finsing them.
I have a ripmax M.A.S.H chopper, and it's a wonderful model. I will be making it more wonderful with addition of a Causemann KA-50 Black Shark fuselage kit soon. Now, it would be really super nice if I could put home made retracts and the Causemann light system in the chopper, and I'm figuring out ways of doing so. However, I noticed that the Tx that I got has 7 channels, but the Rx in the chopper only has 4. Is there any way I can use the extra three Tx channels to control my lights and retracts? I am fully expecting for it nnot to be possible, but I thougt I'd check anyway. There must be some way to get extra channels in there, a new Rx perhaps? Suggestions would be very helpful.
Oh and for those who don't know about them, here's a link to the Causemann fuselages for Bell 47, Lama etc etc.
Cheers,
Will.

I would need one with an integrated Gyro, like the one that's in there. I've looked around but havent found any, can someone give me a link?

RE: 4 in 1 receivers?
Thats possible if the setup is light enough. I think what I need is a 4n1 esc/gyro/mixer/Rx receiver with 5 or 6 channels, I've found a few but to be honest I'm not sure what to look for. I've changed the topic name, hopefully that will help . Thanks for your advice exeter , I'll try to dig out the manual so I can tell you what the setup is.
I'm looking to build something like this [8D]:

Get a 3-in-1 Gyro/Mixer/ESC and combine that with a micro 6 channel park flyer receiver.
Here's an EFlite 3-in-1 with heading lock gyro:

Thats an excellent idea!! This maybe a stupid question, but how ill that one work with the two motors? I can't see where you would plug them in, unless some minor modding is involved ? *Edit* Ah no I see where the plugs are now! Thats excellent!
But yes thats definately a great idea.

Those two Eflite 3-in-1 units I linked to (in my previous post) are used in the Blade CX3 and CX2 twin rotor coax helis, so those should work perfectly for your application. There are probably some other (cheaper) 3-in-1s out there as well.

Good point, The reason I mention the big lama 3&1, is that it has larger 380 motor sized mosfets for the output, and is less expensive than the eflite ones, but as you point out, both would work fine

RE: 4 in 1 receivers?
Hi Will , Lots of Twister models have 6 channel 4in1s . Same for esky 4in1s .Esky would be cheapest . If you order from overseas email to double check they send 6 channel . Im guessing your on 35mhz .
