Garet,

How did you solve the problem of getting enough fuel into the Agg? What tanks/sizes/shapes/location and what turbine are you using?

Your bird looks good; have a great time with it.

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_72...gressor/tm.htm check out post #29, Joe L. made custom tanks (to go along w/ the 2 BVM tanks that came with it). The plane has 60oz for fuel, Garret used a JJ 1200 turbine.

Well thanks to Joe L., he made 2 20 oz. tanks that fit in front of the bvm tanks, giving me a total of 60 oz with the hopper tank.
look close at 2nd pic. you can see the tanks on the sides of the intakes under the hopper.

Garet:

Aren't you worried about your wing loading at takeoff with all of that fuel?

no,
this is not the original wing, new wing cores were cut for it that extended the wing a total of 9 inches.

Nice work. Sweet.

Do you have the manual and the plans ?
I have a Ultra Viper but I have just the Kit, no manual and no plans.

Thanks

Cool turbine install. I have a brand new in the box BVM Aggressor II. Guy in Florida makes a conversion kit to turbine, fuel cells etc: http://www.floridajetflyers.com/mavcon.htm Nice to see a jet Joe turbine. Going to put a Jet Joe JJ1400 in my GT models Hawker Hunter

Garet, It looks like you made a caopy hatch similar to the aggressor III-the carbon fiber plate- do you have more info or detailed pics of what you did there. thanks Ryan

the canopy hatch is similar to the aggressor III as for the carbon fiber plate- it is nothing more than a 3/32 plywood plate with a 1/32 carbon fiber laminate that is glued on. I got the carbon fiber laminate from Dragon Plate.
