RE: Help me find a jet for this field
I fly my sprint from less than 150ft grass runway, with a merlin 90. and retracts. I have landed on our 90ft runway several times without problem, it flys in very stable when slow.
The joys of flying in the UK from tiny grass patches I also fly the FEJ Rafale with same engine from this strip without issue, although the noseleg would be much better as trailing link due to the bumps.

Hi Pete.
C-ARF Eurosport for sure! Fulfills both your wishes if you paint it scale.
With practice you will easily fly it from a 300' runway.
Mine has been a great friend for the last five years and is still with me after +600 flights and still looks as good as new[8D]
Have a look...

and

and

Actually I have found a Build thread on pretty much all the boomerangs so far.. Also, being into jets for such a short amount of time, I wouldn't want to mislead anyone with my inexperience. I can take pictures though..

Pete,
Get a Nano boomer and P-60 size motor.... a buddy (aaflyer) just flew his the other day and Isaw how small and easy it is to operate and transport. You don't want to wrestle the booms off to transport

Merlin90. The rafale is standard except for a Wren single thrust tube rather than the bifurb pipe.
