Default pst 1300 question

HI

I just got a Xicoy fadec and i was wondering if i can use the fuse and switch from the original tems ecu on a pst 1300 i would like to use because ecu battery hard to get to i have it set up that when the switch is off i can charge the battery

I can't answer your question but please let us know how the engine performs with the Xicoy, I have a 1300 here that is a great engine, but from all I know, the Xicoy electronics are awesome.

I will as soon as i can get this all put back together the old tems never did work sat around for 2.5 years when i set it up it never worked .

I read somewhere that Xicoy ECu's use the receiver pack to power the ECU itself and the turbine pack only runs the pump, starter and plug. If this is the case, logic says you should be fine.

Can anyone confirm this?

The RPM sensor is universal and it should be mounted with the curvature matching with the turbine inlet. Fuse and Switch are no longer needed with the Fadec since the main power is switched on with the Rx power. You can use the switch and fuse if you want to.

which way does the sensor magnet go ....towards the back of the motor or to the front
