Himoto Tech Support
I have a new Himoto 1:10 scale 4wdRTR model. I gave it a test ru yesterday, and it ran great, accept the steering was in reverse! Got it back out today, it it is un-responsive to the radio.. The controller just beeps. Any advise??

also make sure all the plugs are in the receiver tight. you have to use the rev. switch on the transmitter to get the steering right, Also make sure your batteries are fully charged, all of them, the 7.2 and the ones in the transmitter.
edit: also make sure the crystals are in tightly on the remote and the reciever.

I have pretty much exactly the same problem... I received the XB10, got it out, charged the battery, put batteries in the transmitter, and fired it up... it worked perfectly. Put it in the box, wrapped it, moved it only once, very gently, got it out on Christmas, and it didn't work. Just beeping from the car (and the ESC flashes).
I noticed the same behavior when I had the transmitter off when I first got it... but no idea what could be going on.

Check the crystals in the remote and the receiver, make sure they are snug. If that doesnt work, contact where you purchased it and it will be replaced under warranty.

Do like Eddie said, when I have that problem and I have I take them right out and then put them back in and it works 90% of the time.

No such luck, everything is snug and all connections seem correct and intact. It just beeps and nothing happens. Thanks, I have contact the place I purchased from and I'm waiting for them to tell me what to do next.

Its probably the receiver or esc, since its beeping, it sounds like its looking for signal so i would guess its the receiver. Swap the steering and the throttle servo plugs and see if the throttle controls the steering, if it does and when its hooked up properly and the steering control the steering then its probably the esc since the throttle is sending signal (throttle works the steering).

OK, I did the swap, and nothing happens in either case (no steering, no throttle). So I'm guessing that means receiver or transmitter? Thanks for the help!
