if i'am to convert my savage xl to x,will i be ale to use the 5.9?

Yes you will, but the stock exhaust header from the XL will be too large, per say.

There are lots of people who are wanting to convert their X's to XL's. why don't you find one of them and trade? that would be an easy way for some people to save some cash! Just a thought

They are both fun.... the X length wheelies much easier. If you put smaller tire on and up the gear ratio, you can set back on a wheelie bar and run long wheelies. I think the XL is better in rough running conditions and a lot easier to jump with. The shorter wheelbase turns sharper.... I like running the XL width on an X chassis length. One of the things I like best about the XL is exhaust and engine mounts. You can actually get right to the engine screws. For guys with hams for hands, like me, that rear clip on the fuel tank is super nice on the XL. Glen
