and word of mouth while at the events and during bashing when people ask where they can get one.

i run my cars almost everyday and people always ask about them.

you don't have to be able to sponsor a ton of money either.
im looking for cash-parts-cars-accessory's sponsors.
i will even hand out business cards for you at races and rally's. even coupons and fliers
i own an off road website to and it has a forum and i will promote my own site as well and all sponsors within the off road website as well.
i am very creative when it comes to web promotions and other items of that nature.

Your best bet is to contact the companies who's parts you will need and sell yourself as a great racer. State all your wins and make them aware of the exposure they will receive. Some companies have sponsorship forms to fill out that make it easier for you and them.
posting here and waiting for a reply may or may not work.

Do do sound very confident about your skills and thats what companies want. Good luck.
