HELP
I am new to car bt I have been flying nitro and electrichelicopter for year.
I have alot of 3 cells lipos from my trex 450.
Is there any RC racing car out there can run with 3 cells lipo?
I need a smaller car that I can run at the tenis course near to my house like this one

Does anybody has this car? what BL motor and ESC should I use?
I am planning to use Futaba 3PM-X. Is this a good radio?
Thanks for all inputs.

RE: HELP
I'm not an on -road guy anymore so i'm a little out of date on them. What I can tell you is traxxas makes a bunch of trucks that will all take 3S lipos. All of the VXL models will run on them with no problems. One thing to keep in mind though. Lipos designed for Planes and heli's are often not good choices for cars. They tend to be smaller with lower Mah and C ratings. If you decide to go with something like a VXL i would recommend you batteries be a min of 4000mah with a C rating of 20 or higher. There's no real reason to go above 30C.
Hope you find an on road that meets you needs. I'm sure someone here can point you in the right direction.

RE: HELP
Just so you know, the Associated 10r5 is a direct drive pan style car, so 3s lipo might be a bit much. Also, it is designed for a 4 cell nimh or a 1s lipo, so I don't know if you can get a 3s into it. I would recamend a touring style car if you're wanting to go with on road type cars. Something like an Associated tc5, even then, 3s is going to be a handfull.
If you go to www.rc10.com you can roam around there and get a ton of info.

RE: HELP
Thanks alot for all of your help.
I still cannot decide what I am going for the kit yet. Yes i will absolutely go for a tour on road car. some thing looks cool!.
ESC+Motor
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...XUTA1&P=ML
Radio
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...XXMV5&P=ML
Motor + ESC+ radio = 250$
I will have 200$ leftfor the kit. ( I would like to spend 450). I have 8 of 3cells TP Extreme packs which I use for my T500 and T450 helicopter which I would like to use on car. I already have TP 1010 charger.
could somebody tell me what 1/10 sport tour kit will work with motor and ESC above? I would like to have a kit that I can easily get part any where. What is a popular 1/10 sport tour kit on the market now?
Thanks
