Hey guys. I have purchased a 10X that has the 2.4 Module. I have a Select scan 72 module that I use with it for all my planes that I have now. I am in the process of ordering an ESM corsair and Possible the H-9 Carden Yak. I want to start slowly switching all my planes over to 2.4. First what receivers do I need to buy to be compatible with the module. And I have looked at a couple of receivers that come with "remote"???(JR 921 9 channel DSM2 2.4 GHz receiver with remote receiver module) What is that? Do I need it?? The ESM is a Fiberglass fuse...does that make a difference in the reception of the 2.4?? And do I need to bind these receivers to the 10X 2.4 Module??

Yes you need at least one remote for the 921 to work and two would be better.
That way you can place them in various places in the plane to insure good link with the trx.

The 921 has two recievers in it, the two remotes gives you a total of 4 recievers
The fiber galss fuse. should not be a problem
Yes you have to bind the reciever to the trx.

But if you got a 10X why limit yourself to 9 channels?
Get a 10 cannel reciever.

Larry the 10x converted to 2.4 drops to 9 channels! I don't know why, but 9 will be 1 more than I need for the corsair! Thanks for the info.

its because jr ppm can only output 9 ch's to be converted by the module to 2.4
