Zinger Pro versus APC
I have a Mojo 40 with a 46AX. I have been using an 11x4 APC which works well. I have tried APC 12x4 and find that the engine doesn't spool up as fast as I would like, has anybody tried a Zinger Pro 12x4? Any thoughts on Zinger versus APC would be appreciated.
Thanks

Yep, to be honest, its more of what you prefer. Zingers, although lighter than apc, tend to be less efficient that apc because they flex a lot more. To some its not desireable, but others say that is smooths out the maneuvers.
Then theres wooden props (like xoar) that kinda rides in the middle of the other 2 (lighter than apc, yet stiffer than zinger).
Its best to experiment and see what you like...

RPM #'s aint gonna help much. Buy it, try it, fly it. The prop is like the transmission in a car. You need to really test it and see if YOU like it for your style flying. They all perform a bit different, regardless of top revs.
Only time I use a tach is to see if I am exceeding the engines suggested redline (top rpm)

The problem with RPM numbers is that there's a difference in wood quality, and other conditions of the prop that heavily influence the prop. They'll all fly similarly, but the RPM numbers simply will not give you the information you're looking for.
I would recommend Xoars, though...they're absolutely awesome props and they're great people to deal with.

Vess makes a good [link=http://www.vesspropellers.com/servlet/the-15/12x4-wood-propeller/Detail]12x4 prop[/link]. But if your learning and hitting the ground a lot, stick to the apc's
