Default PAU 36% Edge SWEET

Cspaced (Chris) and I got some flying in and he was kind enough to let me fly the Edge. I was very impressed! Within a couple minutes of flying time I felt confident enough to get it down low.

The finish is very nice and it presents well. Flies very well for both 3D and IMAC/Precision work.

Here's my pics of my Edge.

A little history. I picked up the plane used minus wings/wheelpants. The previous owner had lost the wings in flight but managed to land.

I bought new wings and put my 3W106 TOC that has been giving me problems in it. 2 weeks ago I maidened it. I had cans on it and things didn't go well. On takeoff the motor bogged down and died. I had no altitude and no airspeed and crashed 60 degrees nose down. Ripped the landing gear out, broke the bottom of the cowl out, wheel pants poked holes in the bottom of the wings and the carb block was ripped off the motor.

Repairs took longer to get started on than actually repairing it. It only took 4 nights to fix everything.

I bought a new cowl vs fixing the old (I still plan to fix the old one). The motor now has an alum reed block and an alum carb block and all new gaskets. My sullivan skywriter smoke pump also arrived so I plumbed all those lines as well.

So I got all that done and then started the motor up at the house. It ran flawless. Smoke pump was used and had some issues but I got it working as well.

Here's the remaiden from Yesterday. (photos courtesy of JohnVH Photography)
