RE: Force .26 same as HPI f4.1? Problem.
Not sure, but although the Force 26 uses the same con-rod as the Nitro-star 25, the piston and cylinder are different sizes. So, I guess there are common pieces, but being completely identical? Only someone with both can say for sure.
If your LHS stocks Force parts, why not take your old head-button with you and a pair of calipers (a micrometer would be better) and find out at the store?
If you need it for the weekend, you can use a heli-coil kit (thread repair insert kit)t. The cost of the kit is probably more than a new head button, but should be locally available. Hardware stores usually carry these kits (although generally under a different brand name) and automotive parts stores should definately have them. Don't worry about the threads sealing, the copper glowplug washer does that for you.

the HPI http://www.hpiracing.com/optionparts/stat-s25.htm Nitro Star S-25's button head will fit the Force .26
I'm pretty sure other ones will fit, like the Mach .26, XTM....etc
If you want, head over to

They have some pretty good engine guys there.
