They are increasing them quality.
New jets comes with a lot of carbon reenforcements.
Hope see soon the new A7 (160-200).
Thanks

Increasing quality and carbon reinforcements mean nothing if there is no engineering behind.

Sorry JM, but I've lost enough money with these guys.
The resell value of a FEJ kit is just too low.
Hope that you understand me...

I understnad your frustration...
Mine add some upgrades! More carbon fiber reinforments.
I will talk with James and Johnny. We want happy costumers
Sorry for your lost my friend.

Eagle Drive.
About carbon fiber reinforcements.... wich plane are you talking about.... show me photos of what you think is wrong! If we agree we will change it!
Thanks

You're saying "we". Are you FEJ ? Do you speak Chinese ?
Adding carbon fiber strips here and there is only just cosmetic as Eagle Drive said. A proper aero design is much more than this.
I have sent pages of technical feedback to these guys about the previous planes I tested for them. With no success. They do not listen. I have spent a considerable amount of my precious time in pure vain ( apart from making the two planes I have airworthy ). I am pretty sure that Eagle Driver is not willing to waste his time with these guys again.
It is OK for them to send some small inexpensive parts, but not to change a design properly.
On top of that, when I see all these planes announced on their web site, it makes me think about a Ponzi scheme.
What is the point to release new planes if the current ones are not finalized ( apart from getting fresh cash in emergency )?
How many people are gonna send money to these guys and see the kit coming 6 to 9 months later in a prototype stage that only a few guys in the world can sort out ?
Do you have any idea how many unbuilt or partly built FEJ kits are changing owners on the market ?
How long is this story going to last before the whole thing bursts out either because a customer crashes a plane in the crowd or because the company eventually runs out of cash ?
I am extremely concerned about this situation right now.
Just my 2c...

This has been long done already here:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_92...tm.htm#9242583
Here ( about 20 pages of feedback on the F-18F ):
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_77..._1/key_/tm.htm
Here ( about 10 pages of feedback on the F-16 ):
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_86..._1/key_/tm.htm
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_95...tm.htm#9607280
And in my RCJI tests and feedback.
The technical reports I have made to FEJ is mostly of a confidential nature. Ask for a copy to them. If they believe that you could read them, they'll certainly send copies to you.

João,
i wish you luck for the future ....
as Oli said i`m not willing to waste my time with these guys again.
Did you ever see the original Drawings of the Liberty, what a fantastic jet.
We designed it and send the finished CAD Drawings to china. Put over
800 hours in this project. So the stupid german can`t be right and they changed
everything into their own crapy design. What they come out with was the biggest
bunch of sh.t i`ve ever seen. [:@] One step forward, five steps backward [:'(]
Spend enough time and money into that company .... NOW ITS YOUR TURN .... best luck
BTW: OLI how`s the ME262 going ???

RE: A-10 Flyeagle... soon in Portugal
Hi Joao
As you know I have own 2 FEJ kits in the past (a 1/8 F16 and a F18F large) and built a couple of F15s and Rafales. Both Steven and Oli also had the Big F18 as I did. They have gone thru several troubles, mainly with the gear, but also with pipes, frame, etc. Their hard experience as lead me to sell my kit...unbuilt. If you look closely I was one of the first to buy this kit and started the building F18F thread
If you read the suggested threads carefully you will be aware of the issues that this plane and others had.
they sure have good kits mainly in the small range like the small F16, etc. Excelent value for the money, at least a couple of years ago. Some issues to deal but nothing special. In my humble opinion, what I think it is wrong with this company strategy is making extremely complex BIG airplanes without proper engineering and proper materials. You just can't make a big F18F gear train to withstand a plane weight of 30Kg, with the same soft aluminium of a 1/8 gear train (10Kg). It is not enough to make some carbon stripes in a BIG plane if the layer and resins are not up to the task. 30Kg planes need another aproach to engineering and manufacturing and most of all, need several test flights and corrective measures.
Nevertheless, I take my hat to their proactivity and courage to make what no other manufacturer as done before, but I leave this question; why haven't they (other manufacturers) done it? and in many cases still don't?
Still, when I look at their web and see more than 40 jet kits (some are marketed and some planned to be marketed) in a company with 3 years, it just seems that ambition is trapped by inexperience.
What I really wish is that they learn from customers feedback. It will be the only win-win situation.
If you want give me a call and we can have a chat about it...
Best regards
Nuno

When I see the difference between working with FEJ and with Grumania or Thomas Knoll, it is quite stunning.
BTW the big F-84F is on the way...
Take care ( and hope to see you soon ).
Oli.
