Hi again Kent,
Glad to hear from you again. I did follow the "trail" of the vacuum pulse from the engine to the carb. All the ports up to
the carb where clear. I even attached a vacuum source to the back of the carb and could not get the diaphram to move. I think I asked you this before, but again, do you know where the vacuum enters the diaphram area? Even the distributor I bought it from
does not know!
Also, since you have the same airplane and yours actully runs
and flys ( I have gone through 2 of these planes) did you install
an "airtube"?? The dist. told me to install a tube ( toilet roll size)
from the bottom of the cowl up to the bottom of the carb.This is to feed freash air to the carb and eliminate any vacuum in the fusealage created by the carb sucking air. So I am curious to know
if I did all that in vain on my THIRD Cap. Please let me know.
