There is a rule of thumb with nitro
Buy cheap get a pile of headaches, but good quality get a beautiful machine.

Handling should be good I had a old original RS4, and am in the process of making a Evo 3 outta scrap parts.
That is probably one of the more decent ones for a low entry cost. I have a few HPI machines (2 are based off that model) and they all run good.
There are others I don't know the names of, but on-road isn't really my forte.
