Default anyone know what this plane is ?

anyone know what this plane is ? who makes/sells it ? I found this pic on my hard drive, and have no idea where it came from ....

what i like about it :
- cool flap/airbrake combo setup
- twin exhaust
- kinda looks like a Mig and a hot spot ctossed

bad:
- air intake is just above the bround
- long (potentially bendable) nose gear strut

If anyone has any info on this plane, please let us know !

Default AIRPLANE

I'm not sure where I saw it.. Superman or Mississippi 2 years ago.
I believe it belonged to Rei Gonzales. I don't think think it flew. It had a Ram 750/1000 in the center and 2 500's in each side.. I think..

Look in RCJI FEB/MAR 2001, page 10. The jet is the "PT10 XXL" jet trainer by Mike Schmuck.

The quote saud "possibly the ugliest model airplane ever built"...

Yes, that is correct. The PT10 was not my idea of a good looking bird either, but it sure stuck in myhead, as I remembered exactly what issue it was in. There are two photos from some jet meet in Europe. There was actually two of them there, but they had shots of only one (the red and yellow one).

My SPAjet is pretty butt-ugly too, but if it flies it will be kinda' cool...

This ugly airplane is only a testing vehicle for testing turbines and electric stuff. I think, its not for sale ;-)

hey wiwanczyk
I have this jet. Its a very big trainer and flys like a bat out of hell
with a ram 750. Its also flys very slow. I still could not get the Landing right . But i must say its ulgy on the ground but looks good inthe air.
