Ford Rs200
I got a KYOSHO FORD RS200 back in 1988. Did anyone else buy one?
The OS 10 engine needs a new recoil starter (maybe even a new engine as i haven't even tried to start it for at least 7 years). If this part is no longer available, does anyone know if i can install a newer, faster engine in this car?!?

Hi,
A guy who I work with had exactly the same problem a fortnight ago. I managed to coil it back up but he couldnt get it back onto the engine and could not get spares, so he bought a new engine. Ill find out which one for you tomorrow.
His problem now is his second cog (the plastic one) is worn.

I was starting to think i was the only one unfortunate enough to own a RS200.
Could you also let me know price of new engine/starter assembly. Hopefully my local model shop will stock it.

Ok ive had a word with him but all he can remember is that the new enigne was called a gs11 with pull start.
He said that was a direct replacement.
