Default 61cc husqvarna conversion into an Easy V?

So this chainsaw engine weighs approx 5.25lbs...

Am I completely off my rocker for thinking about trying to wedge this monster into a 46" Easy V? If not, what prop would I even start with?

Please advise

the engine you are thinking of (saw the post on the engine conversion board) is converted for airplane use, it's set up for a plane propeller and has the flywheel removed (aka cooling fan for an aircooled boat engine) not to mention it won't have a starter on it anymore...

you'd be better off with the ryobi engine you have like you said.

Thing you will find is that the motor lacks the RPM to really move a small boat. A bigger block motor like the Husky will probably respond better with a larger diameter propeller which in turn will tend to torque roll the boat more. There has certainly been more powerful motors put in smaller boats - but as mentioned already - there might be other factors at work that warrant consideration.
