what is the length of this hull?

The Super Cat Gen. 2 is 44 inches on the bottom from the tips to the transom and the top is 49 inches because of the (two wheelie bars. LOL)

Beam measures 15 inches. The 22 x 13 open cockpit opening allows plenty

of room for easy assembly of all the working components

Bill, do you or anyone else that owns one of these beauties have any videos of these boats running?   I've been looking into a few cats this size for a possible winter project, among those were the expresscraft thunderbolt, seaducer cat, AC R42, F1 Stryker or AL sprint cat....

The Super Cat was the boat to beat from around 2001-2004 and there were allot of races won with that cat. But around 2004 the manufacture kinda let the RC end of his business go to do more lucrative work and we have since the acquired the molds. I raced this boat then and won allot of races but I did see room for improvement so we made some changes and came out with the Gen 2 and now it is even better. We just started to sell the hull a few months ago so Wait and see .It is going to make a overwhelming come back.

I do not have any video of the Super Cat gen.2 but will try to get one soon . First I have to get a video recorder since we lost ours on our last honeymoon. May be one of the new owners of the gen.2 may have a video of it running and they will help us out.

what improvements you made to the hull?
The bottom of the hull was completely done over to get better speed and handling.

I got a friend that know's these boats pretty well. There are two set's of mold's made for the super cat. The orginal and the moditifed/improvement set. Sounds like to me to got the orginal mold's. Oh I got the cowl your looking for too. untouched/no cuts in it.

yea sounds like Bill knows this hull too, being he raced it for a few years .....how's that hull looking now Joe, havent seen any pics of it since your 'other half' fixed and primed the hull-n- originalhacked-up cowl that Ron gave ya...

Bill, looks like i came to a quick decision for my winter project, and plan to pick up one of your Gen 2's i can always pick up an R42, drag cat or a sprint cat for some 'show off'' speed runs among friends at a later date...one more? hmmm....last one? hmm....probably not.....i keep saying 'this is the last heli' or plane too but never is....</p>

It will be a nice winter project. I'm might take it on as a winter project with Twin RCMK . (the trick is trying to find the time . But I'm seriously thinking about it)

Hi Josey, Yes it seems that the molds we have are the original molds what we are calling the gen1 .
can you post a picture of the cowl you have? I know there was 3-4 different cowls for this cat. all though I love the looks of the one we do have.
