RE: Turbine set up help
I get what you guys are talking about use the fuse as a test bench and that's why leaving the tail assembly off. I'm going to build a test bench separate from the plane so I can easily diagnose any issues and not have to deal with have to remove it from the model.

RE: Turbine set up help
Before running on the bench the fuel pump should have a couple of gallons run through it to break it in.
While running the engine on the bench take some notes like;
What rpm gives you the lowest EGT temp............which is usefull to know for shutting down.
What is the pump voltage drawing at... so if it starts to draw more
voltage later you can head off trouble like .....the filters may be starting to get blocked up.
there are all kinds of stuff to be learned on the bench....
The JJ's are coming with fadac ecus now, which are great ecus...great manuals also...lots of good reading to do.
Have fun....these are exciting times for you!

where do you need to re-enforce the wing?
did you use the tail booms?
where do you get the adapter valve to charge the propane?

I have to say that the OP has received far less help than he should have done. He has a JJ and wants to try it so people should respect this and perhaps give what help they can.
For my part I have a Falcon 120 and I have done a complete build thread on RC Groups which is here if you are interested

Yes you must use the booms people ar talking about testing the engine in the plane with the booms and wings off
Regarding the propane I would not use on board gas as it is a fire hazard. Use the gas outside of the plane for starting. A Simple festo fitting of the dia of your pipework will work fine here
