Default RE: LED ON IGNITION

I just ordered [link=http://www.dimensionengineering.com/PicoSwitch.htm]this[/link] pico switch as my ignition kill switch plus it has a built in led. I plan on making a small window with monokote where the switch will be mounted and will have two ways to kill the engine. 1) activating the channel the switch is connected. 2.) turning off the main switch to the reciever should also deactivate the pico switch as well. $20 shipped is not a bad price at all for a switch with led.

I'll let you know how the install goes once I get the switch. This is going into my 30% Edge 540 with a 50cc power plant.

Thanks,

Shane

I got a RC100. It has a led light on it too. but the light in under the label. I do not know if I can take the label off and put it in a place so I can see it. But that is a good idea. Thanks.. let me know how yours works

That is one thing I was thinking about. If I put a LED in line, it would take some power. That is one thing that I do not like. I was hopeing that there was some one on the rc list that has put a led or somthing in and let me know how they did is and if it is werth the time money power and the chance of RF noise in the rx. It looks like with all the gassers out there with chi that they have not done this. it must not be needed that bad.

But this post was fun.. You all was grate help. I love the rcuniverse forums.

Thanks.
