ok how much do the big block conversion kits cost? like for the .32
The big block kit is listed MSRP by Traxxas at about $55 USD, PN 5360X.

Note: I do not know of any big block nitro engines that can accept the Traxxas EZ start back plate. So this means that you will have to "bump" start (start on a starter box) your Revo.

For more details on how to mount specific big block engines, also read the PDF files that are linked in this link. But so long as the big block engine you choose uses the industry standard big block wing-mount bolt pattern, this kit will allow you to bolt it right up to your Revo.

Another thing you should note: Big block engines almost always turn more slower RPMs than most small blocks. But they usually produce more torque than small blocks. So to compensate, you would have to gear higher to preserve your top speed.

Another option is to take your big block an have it modified. By modding its timing profile (port durations), it is very possible to make your big block turn as fast, if not faster, than most small blocks. Then you get the best of both worlds: superior torque of big blocks and also the generally higher RPMs of small blocks.
