The rims that came with my Viper X2S have been a problem almost since day one. The plastic in the rim deforms too easily causing the wheels to wobble. Bryan told me that the Jato wheels will probably fit, and it looks like they will. I am a bit concerned about the offset. Has anybody here used different rims on thier X2S that worked without modification? What were they?

jato rear or rustler rears(new ones) will work. I am still running my stock rims and tires on my x2s, we do alot of jumping too, what is the problem that your having, is it all the rims?

Yes, it is all of the rims. When I first ran the car, I did a lot of tumbling and it caused deflection from the hubs out. I have bent them back as strait as I could several times. It just does not last very long. You dont by chance sell just the rims? I am getting ready to order two fuel tanks, my lid will not seal and I always like to have a spare, I would love to fix my wheel problem, I just cannot afford $70 for rims and tires. Now I just need to learn how to change the tires!

lol, that can be a task, you can either boil or bake the tires off the rim or you can use ca debonder.
