Default Mecca Models

Hey Don if you are still alive out there do you have a date as to when the Eurofighter will be available? I am waiting patiently for one of these new bad boys.

Thanks
Chris

Chris,
Don has been at Ernie Hubers Helicopter Training School all week. He is off to Disney today through the weekend. Don will be bringing the first complete Euro to my house tuesday night for us to review and see if any further "Tweaks" need to be made. I imagine first production runs will begin before the first of the year.
Trust me, it will be worth the wait

Does this apply only to the Euro or are the Kangaroo, Harpoon and F86 also ready for final review? I am most interested in the Kangaroo or the Harpoon right now and want to see what changes there are with these versions compared to the Composite-ARF ones. As for production timing, the beginning of next year will fit right in with my schedule.

Scott,
Prototypes of the new roo and rookie are in development, it will be a few months yet on their release. I can tell you the new roo will have the thrust line lowered (ala hotspot) and a new nose grafted on to enhance it's looks. I will try and get estimated release dates for both.....

Thanks Todd. I am not in a huge rush, I'm just trying to keep a track of what is going on. That updated 'roo sounds good though. How will it compare to the Harpoon?

Jeff, yes and no.... It is on the list but I dont believe it is in progress at this time. Can have too many on the plate at one time . There is much more demand for the sport jets and I expect the focus is to move them out first....

Would it look anything like this? My kit was kit bashed into a plug and then this came out. The nose is extended, to handle canards, and the motor mount is hotspot ish. Getting close to being finished, doing final test on the engine Saturday then will start the turbine install. The air is done and the RC needs only fitting.

A worthwhile sacrafice I think?
