Default Byron Bullet

I have a completely reworked bullet just about ready for flight. I have heard that some Byrons need a cheater hole. Does the bullet need this or are the intakes large enough without it?

I've been flying 40% planes with plenty of thrust so this should be interesting.

If memory serves, the Bullet was one of the only fan kits from Byron that didn't use a cheater hole, it had a fiberglass cover that screwed over the hole underneath. This plane is plenty fast with good performance.

Im currently flying a byron bullet and can tell you that the intakes are large enough. You dont need a cheater hole. Mine came with an engine cover. It does fly fast and is a very nimble jet. Have fun.

It will fly both ways, I flew mine, the one B1 has both ways. Depends on it you want a bit more takeoff thrust or more speed in the air.

Thanks guys. I'm using this plane to get my turbine waiver. Thought I would sell it after I was done but who knows maybe I'll keep it. Heard that we might have some new regs for turbine waivers?

I have a Composite Arf EuroSport and a JetCat p120 just about ready for flight. A couple more rainy weekends and it will be done for sure!

I have flown mine both ways..In hot humid weather I take off the cover and it seems to help with the cooling --runs better anyway....
