My Anthem Elliptical
I have about 20 flights on my Elliptical. Been flying an Anthem S for about the last year in AMA Advanced. First contest with the E in about 2 weeks down in Sebastian, FL.
Thought others would like to know how it is set up.
So here goes:
Motor: Himax 6330
ESC: D3
Prop: Falcon 21X13.5
Servos (all): Futaba BLS173
Radio: Futaba (using Sbus)
Alignment (using stab tubes as "0"):
Wings: .7 degrees positive
Engine: factory nose
Cantilizer: factory
CG: .68 inches behind back of wingtube (factory)
Weight: 174.7 ounces

Conditions
Flying Advanced - I use 6 Conditions:
1: Normal; All flying except when in one of the other conditions
2: TEST; Used when I want to try something new or different in flight
3: Stall Turn
4: Spin
5: Ground; Used on start-up to arm ESC and to help insure motor won't spin unless another condition is slected
6: Takeoff and Landing

Mixes
RUDDER TO ELEVATOR:
Aircraft has a slight pull to canopy durning left and right knife edge flight.
Aircraft has a push to the belly durning flat rudder turns.
Not planning to use mixing at this time.
RUDDER TO AILERON:
Not checked at this time
DOWN-LINE:
Aircraft pulls to canopy on down-line.
5 degree of down elevator mixed at idle for Normal, Spin and Stall Turn Conditions.
UP-LINE:
Aircraft pulls to canopy and a right yaw on higher power up-line.
Aircraft has a push to belly on power cut in level flight.
Did not want to change motor thrust because of how tight (close) I have spinner to nose of aircraft.
Remove T-can - no change. Raised trailing edge of T-can about 3/16 of an inch - no change.
Added down and left thrust to motor - aircraft still has slight pull to canopy but no yaw.
Had to do some sanding to nose of aircraft.
Will live with it for now.
