I have an HPI I have had for 5 years and still holds the glow plug fine but I did buy another one that is longer as with the X style engine guard and LCG chassis makes it easer getting the plug in and out. Have not had the Dubro long but is working fine for now.

I use a CRAFTSMAN Magnetic 8mm driver for plugs. (like a screwdriver)

My girlfriend says I'm a nutty driver.
Mine says, " I'm a constant driver with a habit of busting nuts".
Well..... one of them does...... shhhhhh.

I use the HB one. Works fine, you have to use it for 2-3 times before the frip starts to work right.

Yes this is one of many.

All so if you get a NUT DRIVE from sears make sure it is magnetic or you still have the problem of the plug being held.

I don't like that whole storing the glowplugs in the wrench thing. Seems like an easy way to get dirt in your engine if you aren't careful.

I use a nut driver too, but not a magnetic one as I set the plug in and get the threads started with hemostats first. always if you can give a good shot of compressed air before you pull your plug.

Yes I all ways give mine a shot of air before removing to make sure dirt does not get down in the engine. Good reminder for all. I even have a small air compressor I take to the track with me and unless there is a long heat I blow off around my fuel tank cap before refueling.
