Yes my Spektrum has it built in but before I got it I ran Venom and Ofna. I all so had a Duratrax and it never did work correctly. There all so was a guy at the track last week that had one and it did nothing but give him problems as well.

I like the guys that run Venom, so I'll suggest them. I personally have never run a failsafe (although it wouldn't be a bad idea), but from everything I've seen, they're the go-to guys.

Would it have help if you had one when you hit the dumpster? Or was that the driver?

Ive had the OFNA for 3 years now. It works in rain, snow, and freezing temps. Awesome failsafe and is very small! [8D]

i picked up som Mtronics Failsafes off of Ebay. they are a British company. Failsafes work great, and they also have a LOW VOLTAGE SHUT OFF incorporated into it. bonus and they work great
cheap enough at like 15.00 each.

All the fail safes I have ever run have the low voltage protection and I thought all did. Maybe I wrong. Even my Spektrum with built in fail safe has low voltage protection even thaw I have had some say it does not. But I tested it and when the receiver pack gets low sure enough it goes in to fail safe mode.

Yes my Spektrum has it built in...
Ditto. The spektrum is great since you do not have to add an additional item onto your truck.
Even if I did not have Spektrum, mp 3PK has failsafe already built into the radio and receiver. I think most higher end radio systems have failsafe built in.
