New to RC, buggy or truck?
Hey i was wondering if i should buy a buggy or truck. Buggies seem cheaper than trucks, and i don't want a truggy. I'd be on grass, pavement, and off-roading too so a truck seems better because of the size but i also wanted some speed too. any help?

A truggy or stadium truck (which is 2 wheel drive) seems best suited for what you are looking for. Although, if you really don't want one, it sounds like a monster truck would be the winner. Buggy's can't really handle grass and not too much off road due to the low ground clearance. They are more designed for the track. It sounds like you'll just be bashing, but do you plan to race with it? Go check out your local hobby shop and see what they have and what they have parts for. And although they are cheaper, don't get an off brand rig.

yea i was thinking of a monster truck because of the clearance and all, but my local hobby shop doesn't really have "cheap"stuff it's mostly over priced HPI and Traxxas stuff. I was also thinking of getting a small electric on-road car for messing around with, and no i don't really plan on racing any time soon, no tracks near me [

Why not check out the Traxxas Summit or E-Maxx? I think that those would work pretty well and for $550 I am sure that you could get a few Lipos and charger as well.

Duratrax is probably the lowest you want to go in terms of RC.
I have no idea what your budget is but I'd suggest at least $300-$400 to get "properly" started.
