Hello,
I am building my first scratch built 48" cat. I need to lamininate 3 1/8th peices of plywood together for part of the sponsons. Whould i be using for this? Epoxy? Wood glue?

Depends whats available to you but most use west systems epoxy.Or you could try the local boat yard and see if they have some ,if its used on boats its usually good stuff no matter what brand.Basicly you want a slow setting epoxy.

The home depot sells lepage marine epoxy that sets in 60 minutes, would that be an ok choice? No boat shops anywhere around me.

The slower the setting time, the deeper it will soak into the wood grain & the stronger the bond will be. Keep that in mind.
I use two different brands, boat cote on wood as it has a yellow/brown tint to it, and I use westsystem with fiber glass as it sets clear. Both are good brands.
