Open Day and allowing new potential pilots to fly our own Jets

For a long time I had the wish to allow General RC pilots to Experience flying RC JET for the first time with out the need of purchasing one.

And last Friday we had :

"The Israeli Open day and Introduction to RC JETS "

We published and invited RC pilots to register and fly free of any charge.

The aim was Bringing them closer to the Hobby and exposing them
directly to the real facts of RC JETS. And By that helping dissolving the "Fear" From the Jet World.

The fact is that many have the Desire to own jet but did not have the Courage to start
(and not only because of the Money and funds issue )

It was amazing to discover how much information was missing to this Guys and still many RC Pilots think and have wrong ideas regarding the RC Jet Branch .

At first people thought it was a mistake :

"Flying RC Jets – with no need to purchase it first…."????????….sound unreal considering the cost of the equipment .

The Final was a one day Event – an open day with the possibly to experiencing flying jets for the first time.

We explained and showed many types of Turbines and Models and answered many questions

We also invited many Professional Israeli Pilots ( such as Gaby Keidr , 2nd Place last JWM ) with their Models so they can demonstrate Professional flying and answer questions

I gave the Mission of Instructing, ground and Air ( with the teacher pupil transmitter ) to our most experienced RC JET pilot in Israel , Mr. Ofir Babish and he had a lot to do that day .....

They all gathered at 10AM In our Arad Runway in the South and started flying
30 Degrees Celsius and full of Sunny clear day ( yes , I can see you all winter guys smiling …..)

Many arrived and In the end of the day they all Had a lot of fun

We hope that we managed to demonstrate that it is not as complicated to fly RC JETs with a little help you will know your way in it.

Avi: I just want to congratulate you and the others for this kind of
presentation. I wish other guys would do the same thing in this area
of the world. This way much more pilots would be interested in turbine
flying. As I can recall BVM did this, and they charged a minimal cost.

Once again congrats.

When I had my Boomer I let a lot of non turbine pilots fly it on a buddy cord. It opens up a whole new world to them.

The aim is to bring closer as many as we can , or it will not be Fun !

We decided not to charge any fees becuase we trust our equipmnet and it will not make us reacher .....If you do it ....do it free
